How long have you been skateboarding? 

“I have been skateboarding for a little over a year now, I got into it through one of my friends.”

Why is education important to you? 

“Education is important to me because I always want to improve on my skills and gain as much knowledge as I can. Im really blessed to be able to pursue higher education and attend college.”

How is the skate scene on your campus? How many students skate? 

“I would say our skate scene is pretty solid… there’s around 15 of us that skate consistently. I have a feeling that number is going to grow within the next couple years. The scene is only getting better.!”

Favorite trick right now? 

“I’ve been super into rail/ledge tricks lately, probably feeble or smith grinds.”

Favorite thing about skateboarding? 

“Definitely the community, I’ve met so many amazing people through skateboarding and its opened so many new doors and opportunities for me. The people I’ve met I would consider lifelong friends. Everyone just supports each other and any time I go skate its good vibes all around.”
