Our Mission
At NCSA, we are creating a new avenue for skateboarders to pursue higher education by partnering with universities to establish communities and intercollegiate competition.
Skateboarding is great, but it can provide much more. Education is vital for a better future and we want skateboarding to help you get there. The National Collegiate Skateboarding Association provides skateboarders competition against other colleges and provides a community to improve their educational experience.
We believe that skateboarding is more than a culture, more than a community, and it should provide an opportunity to advance yourself in a personal and professional way. We believe that there should be an opportunity for collegiate skateboarding and provide scholarships for skateboarding in the future.
Can you imagine an opportunity for skateboarders to go to college and advance the industry with the support of higher education? Skateboarding is great already, but how much more can it become, and how many more people will be able to continue to skate if there was an avenue in college?
