How long have you been skateboarding? 

“About 10 years now.”

Why is education important to you? 

“I’d like to go into STEM research, so it’s important that I have a solid education in science.”

How is the skate scene on your campus? How many students skate? 

“The scene is pretty great at UMD! I’d say we have at least 30 avid skateboarders on campus, so there’s always someone to skate with.”

Favorite trick right now? 

“Backside bigspin!”

Favorite thing about skateboarding? 

“The skate community.”
